Three to five years after graduation, the BEEd/BSEd graduates are expected to:
Demonstrate professional expertise and professionalism in dealing with students with different learning needs from various socio-cultural and political backgrounds;
Show deep knowledge of content, pedagogy, educational technology, curriculum and assessment design, instructional materials development, approaches and teacher ethical consideration; and
Engage in continuing professional education and trainings.
STUDENT OUTCOMES
Upon graduation, the BEEd/BSEd students should be able to:
Effectively communicate in English and Filipino both orally and writing;
Work effectively snd collaboratively with a substancial degree of independence in multi-disciplinary and muti-cultural teams;
Articulate the relationship of education to large historical, social, cultural, and political proceses;
Facilitate learning using wide range of teaching methodologies and delivery modes appropriate to specific learners and their environments;
Develop innovative curricula, instructional plans, teaching approaches and resources for diverse learners;
Apply skills in the development and utilization of ICT to promote quality, relevant, and sustainable educational practices;
Demonstrate a variety of thinking skills in planning, monitoring, assessing and reporting learning processes and outcomes;
Practice professional and ethical teaching standards sensitive to the local, national and global realities; and
Pursue lifelong learning for personal and professional growth through varied experimental and field-based opportunities.
